Land animals

There are lots of land animals. The largest land animal is an elephant. There are lots of different types of elephants like:

Asian

Indian

African

One of the smallest land animals, is known to be the bumblebee bat. Although people say the bumblebee bat is the smallest land animal, it isn't on land. It flies off land. Although people say it is not a land animal, it doesn't swim or live in water.

Birds

Birds are land animals, but they are a bit like the bumblebee bat, they live on land not on water. You could count them as a land animal, because they do land to get their worms or little insects to eat.
